  • Fenton Jagdeo - Entrepreneur & Civic Leader

    Fenton Jagdeo is a Canadian business leader, consumer entrepreneur, consultant, and strategy professor. He co founded a disruptive NY based consumer brand, raised nearly $4 million from investors including Estée Lauder and HBO’s Maisie Williams, and exited to Estée Lauder Companies in 2023. He is a professor of Strategy Development at OCAD University’s Strategic Foresight and Innovation Graduate Program, where he teaches leaders how to spot market opportunities, build innovation capabilities, and future proof their organizations, advising organizations like Vertex Pharmaceuticals, TD, and Telefilm Canada.

    Fenton serves on the Board of the Toronto Transit Commission, and previously sat on the board of the Toronto Public Library. He runs a small venture fund backing early stage startups tackling major global challenges, advises technology companies at MaRS Discovery District, and continues to build and exit new ventures. Recognized as one of Bay Street Bull’s Top 30×30 and on The Peak’s Emerging Leaders list, he is a dynamic speaker on innovation and the future of business.

    Fenton holds an HBA from Ivey Business School, and is an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

  • Jenelle Ambrose - Assistant General Counsel at Doane Grant Thornton LLP

    Jenelle Ambrose is a legal and compliance leader with expertise in anticipating, understanding and managing risk. She has had progressive experience in private practice and in-house in such diverse area as: privacy, regulatory compliance, risk management, and policy matters. In particular, she has been responsible for overseeing the privacy compliance function for a major accounting firm in Canada.

    She obtained her J.D. from Dalhousie Schulich School of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012 and admitted to the New York bar in 2015. Before going in-house, Jenelle  practiced for five years in the financial services and risk management groups at a Bay Street law firm.

  • Andrew McKenzie - Director of Operations, Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association

    Andrew McKenzie is an executive management professional with almost 20 years of experience in customer relations industries. He has led all aspects of operations over the course of his career in both the public and private sectors. Within the housing sector Andrew led large scale programs focused on organizational change and process improvement designed to increase employee satisfaction and create positive experiences for tenants.    

    Andrew is known as a strategic motivational leader. His strengths include creating a positive client experience. Andrew is focused on people, process and technology. He brings new perspectives that are helping the non profit and community housing sector embrace change and plan for a successful future.
